Our initial experience of loving and forming attachments often follows us into adult life, with negative consequences for health, work, life and love relationships. The focus of this group therapy is to use body/mind approaches to encourage substantial healing and to change unhealthy patterns in life.  The group also provides interpersonal support and a place in which it is safe enough to work through early trauma and to discover new ways of relating in the present. FACILITATORS:  Julianne Driscoll, RPN, Psychotherapy (Graduate Bioenergetic Analysis)                              Carol Melncik, MSW, RSW, Certified Bioenergetic Therapist FOCUS:   The group begins with 30 – 40 minutes of stretching, breathing, grounding and gentle exercises to relax our bodies and to “tune in” to ourselves. After a short check-in, participants work individually on their goals. The group provides feedback and support for people's individual process and time for people to share their stories and relate in new ways. Common group themes include vulnerability, intimacy, shame, boundaries, healthy attachment & relationships, sexuality, self-esteem, and emotional expression (anger, sadness, fear, etc.). COST/REGISTRATION:  $350. for the first seven group sessions.  $300. for the following six group sessions.  Participants can sign up for either seven group sessions or six group sessions or for the entire thirteen sessions.
